Smokeless fire pits burn cleanly, but their upright airflow naturally channels convective heat straight into the sky rather than outward toward seated guests. Adding a dedicated fire pit heat deflector captures rising thermal energy and redirects it laterally across your patio, warming legs and seating areas. When browsing TIKI smokeless fire pit accessories, choosing the right attachment means deciding between focused warmth redirection, ember containment, fuel storage, or multi-functional backyard additions like tabletop covers and cast iron griddles.

The TIKI heat deflector lineup is organized by fire pit diameter, separating accessories built for the Patio series from those engineered for the larger Reunion series. For the Patio line—which shares sizing with Social and Celebration pits—TIKI builds around a 13.78-inch circular deflector. For the larger Reunion footprint, the brand expands the hardware to 17.07 inches. From there, the collection splits into standalone deflector inserts, kits with a screen and poker, starter packs with wood pellets, and versatile tabletop or cooking bundles.

• Durable 304 stainless steel
• Screen and poker included
• Nests inside pit

Cons

• No tabletop cover
• No starter fuel included

The TIKI Patio & Celebration Fire Pit accessory set delivers targeted lateral heating and ember defense for mid-sized pits. Made from durable 304 stainless steel, the deflector measures 13.78 inches long by 13.78 inches wide and 3.54 inches high while weighing under 2 pounds. Sized for the Smokeless Patio, Social, and Celebration fire pits, it rests inside the included lower screen base over the pit rim to radiate heat while keeping fires smokeless.

Fuel management is simple thanks to the open top of the deflector cone. You can stoke glowing coals or add logs and fuel packs without lifting hot accessories away from the fire. The included spark protector screen and poker maintain a secure barrier against sparks. When cooled, the screen, poker, and deflector nest flush inside the pit beneath the weather-proof cloth cover.

This set suits patio owners who prioritize safety, outward warmth, and compact nesting storage on smaller decks. Unlike wider installations such as the cuisinart 24 inch smokeless fire pit that require expansive clearance, this setup maximizes comfort in close seating circles. It is the core choice when you need reliable spark containment alongside lateral heat.

Made from upgraded 304 stainless steel, this round deflector measures 17.07 inches long by 17.07 inches wide and 4.53 inches high, weighing under 3 pounds. The listing specifies compatibility with both the Reunion Fire Pit and Retreat models, resting securely inside the Reunion lower screen base to radiate warmth outward.

Active fire maintenance is straightforward throughout long gatherings. Through the open center of the deflector, you can stoke embers and position full-sized logs or fuel packs using the included poker without dismantling hot hardware. When your fire concludes and the components cool down, the entire assembly nests inside the Reunion basin under the protective cloth cover.

This kit suits spacious backyards where guests sit four to six feet away from the pit rim. The broad 17.07-inch dome captures wide thermal plumes that would otherwise escape upward, pushing warmth outward toward lawn chairs. For Reunion owners seeking an all-in-one spark screen and deflector package, this model delivers complete factory coverage.

Best for: Compact patios needing daytime table utility

Pros

• Includes gold tabletop cover
• Deflector screen and poker included
• All accessories nest

Cons

• Tabletop requires storage space
• Only fits Patio pits

The TIKI Patio Fire Pit Heat Deflector bundle turns your fire pit into functional patio furniture when not in use. This package pairs the 13.78-inch by 13.78-inch by 3.54-inch 304 stainless steel deflector, screen, and poker with an oversized 25.6-inch by 25.6-inch by 1.5-inch gold tabletop cover. It is designed specifically for the TIKI Smokeless Patio and Social fire pits.

The standout advantage is dual-purpose patio utility. During warm afternoons, resting the gold tabletop over the pit provides a flat surface for drinks, snacks, or games. When evening arrives, removing the tabletop reveals the nested accessories beneath. The deflector cone, poker, screen, and weather-resistant cover all store neatly under the tabletop to keep outdoor spaces tidy.

This bundle best serves homeowners with compact patios or balconies where outdoor floor space must remain useful all day long. Rather than letting an idle fire basin take up room, the tabletop conversion creates an attractive patio table between burns. It gives way to basic deflector kits if you already have dedicated outdoor tables.

The TIKI Reunion Fire Pit Heat Deflector insert is a streamlined, hardware-focused upgrade listed under model number 1321155. Finished in modern gold styling, it is engineered specifically for compatibility with the TIKI Reunion Fire Pit. The listing specifies this item as a standalone deflector insert, without an accompanying spark screen or poker, focused on delivering full-body warmth.

This insert directs heat outward from head to toe while preserving the pit’s smokeless combustion process. The central opening allows you to add firewood logs or wood packs cleanly without removing the dome. When cooled, the deflector nests directly inside the fire pit basin, saving patio storage space and allowing quick setup for your next gathering.

This model is the ideal match for Reunion owners who already own a screen and poker, or who prefer burning without a mesh collar. If you only need a standalone reflective dome to channel warmth toward outdoor lounge chairs, this insert avoids paying for duplicate accessories.

The deflector seats inside the screen base over the pit rim, funneling heat outward toward your seating area. The griddle system lets you cook entire meals outdoors, using inserts to grill burgers over flames or fry pancakes and eggs on the flat top, reminiscent of traditional cook surfaces like the pilot rock fire pit grate. Once cooking ends and the griddle is set aside, the stainless steel heat deflector mounts over the screen base to transform the pit into a radiant heater.

This bundle is tailored for patio entertainers who want their fire pit to handle dinner before serving as a relaxing lounge focal point. Combining cast iron cookware with warmth hardware eliminates the need for a separate grill, while all components store neatly under the included weatherproof cover.

Before You Buy

Before choosing a TIKI fire pit heat deflector, verify the exact model name and top rim diameter of your fire pit. These accessories are engineered to fit specific screen bases; a 13.78-inch Patio deflector will not fit the wider Reunion pit, and a 17.07-inch Reunion deflector cannot mount on a Patio frame. Furthermore, the listings do not specify universal compatibility with non-TIKI fire pits, so placing them on third-party smokeless pits may cause unstable seating or disrupt secondary combustion airflow.

Carefully check package contents so you do not lack essential safety gear. Standalone options, like the gold Reunion deflector insert, do not include a spark screen or fire poker, requiring you to already own the compatible screen base to support the cone above the flames. In addition, the listings do not specify heat-resistant gloves; because 304 stainless steel and cast iron hold intense heat long after the fire dies down, allow all parts to cool completely before nesting them under the weather cover.

FAQ

How does a fire pit heat deflector redirect warmth?

A fire pit heat deflector uses an angled stainless steel dome suspended over the fire chamber to intercept rising hot air. Because smokeless fire pits direct convective heat straight up, the deflector captures that energy and reflects it outward in a lateral circle, directing warmth toward your legs and seating area.

Can you add firewood without removing the TIKI heat deflector?

Yes, TIKI heat deflectors feature an open center port that allows continuous fire tending. You can use the poker to adjust logs and add split firewood or wood packs through the opening without lifting the hot deflector cone or screen base away from the pit.

Which TIKI heat deflector fits the Reunion fire pit?

The Reunion fire pit requires the larger deflector models, such as the 17.07-inch TIKI Reunion Fire Pit Heat Deflector set (model 1123128) or the Reunion gold heat deflector insert (model 1321155). The 13.78-inch Patio models are too small to mount on the Reunion frame.

Are TIKI fire pit heat deflectors weather resistant?

The deflectors are crafted from durable 304 stainless steel to resist rust, but continued exposure to wet weather can cause surface discoloration. Several bundles provide a weather-resistant cloth cover to protect nested accessories when the fire pit is not in use.

Can you use wood pellets with a TIKI patio fire pit heat deflector?

Yes, the TIKI Patio deflector works seamlessly with both split cordwood and wood packs. The deflector opening easily accommodates fuel additions, and bundles like the TIKI Brand Patio Fire Pit Heat set include four packs of sawdust pellets that burn for 30 minutes each.
