The 2,500 sq ft coverage and 800mL/h output handle big volumes efficiently. The smart app lets you adjust settings from bed or away. The 70-hour runtime means less frequent refilling. It suits users who want automated humidity control between 40% and 90% without constant manual adjustments.
Who can skip it
Skip this model if you need a portable unit for small bedrooms. The 21-inch height and 8-pound weight make it less ideal for tight spaces. If you require heating functions, note this is a cool mist only device. Users needing a display-free interface might find the ambient mood light distracting, even in sleep mode. Those without 2.4GHz WiFi may find app features inaccessible. The top-fill design requires lifting the lid, which some may prefer to avoid.
Verdict
This humidifier offers robust coverage and long runtime for large spaces. Its smart controls and high capacity make it a practical choice for whole-house comfort.
Key specs explained for this humidifier
Coverage: 2500 sq ft
This rating indicates the unit is designed for large open areas. You can place it in a spacious living room or open-plan office without needing multiple devices. When shopping for air conditioners or heaters, look for similar square footage ratings to ensure the unit matches your room size. Smaller units may struggle to maintain consistent comfort in these larger spaces.
Mist Output: 800mL/h
This value shows how much water the device converts into mist each hour. A higher output means faster humidification for dry air. You benefit from quicker relief from dry skin or nasal congestion. Compare this to smaller desktop humidifiers that output significantly less per hour. This speed helps maintain stable humidity levels in high-traffic areas throughout the day.
Tank Size: 4.7-gallon (18L)
This large capacity reduces how often you need to refill the water. You can run the unit for extended periods without interruption. This is ideal for whole-house use or overnight operation in bedrooms. When comparing air conditioners or heaters, consider how maintenance frequency affects your convenience. A larger tank means less manual effort and fewer trips to the sink.
Runtime: 70 hours
This figure tells you how long the unit runs on a single fill at low settings. You get nearly three days of continuous operation before refilling. This supports consistent comfort without daily maintenance. Compare this to smaller units that require daily refills. Longer runtime is essential for maintaining stable humidity levels in large rooms or during dry winter months.
Design and build overview
The AERZY 18L Whole House Humidifier measures 21 inches in height, 10 inches in length, and 7 inches in width. According to the listing, the unit weighs 8 pounds. White is also available if you prefer a lighter aesthetic.
Mobility is supported by four 360-degree wheels and dual side handles. You can easily roll the device between rooms as needed. The top-fill design simplifies refilling the 18-liter tank. You do not need to lift or tilt the heavy unit to add water. An automatic water shortage reminder helps prevent dry running, which protects the internal components during extended use.
Control options include a remote and Wi-Fi connectivity via the Tuya Smart App. The remote works up to 20 feet away, letting you adjust settings from across the room. The app requires a 2.4GHz WiFi connection for remote management. A 30-degree adjustable nozzle directs the mist precisely where you need it. This layout supports flexible placement in whole-house environments or specific large areas like offices.

Before you buy this humidifier
You should verify your home network supports 2.4GHz WiFi before downloading the Tuya Smart App. The app controls mist levels and timers, but your router must be compatible. Keep distilled water nearby to reduce mineral buildup inside the 18L tank. Top-fill design simplifies refilling, but regular cleaning prevents residue. This unit adds moisture to dry air, which can help your skin and throat feel better. It does not cool or heat the room. Place it near a power outlet, as the cord length is not specified.
